Seldom does anyone leave empty-handed after spending a day with grandma; she’s always full of goodies. But Sammi has clearly figured out that the real treasure is hidden in Nana’s closet. The oversized lime green jacket adds the simplicity and glamour of pre-war fashion to an otherwise modern dress. Lest we forget about the tangerine-colored shoes that just makes my heart beat to an old jazz tune.
But I should probably break the news to you now; the necklace is handmade by Sammi. We’ll just have to teach granny another time, or visit thrift shops for an equally eclectic look!
Let your imagination run wild! Alex’s outfit arouses feelings of nostalgia; particularly the days of being captivated by the beauty found inside of a kaleidoscope. The fusion of patterns and textures pique similar curiosity, winning me over with every glance and configuration. Honestly, such dedication to the Bohemian look isn’t for the faint at heart. I gladly accept the challenge!

A vibrant dream in monochromatic color. I absolutely adore how the varying shades beg your attention. How can so much personality exist without any other color schemes? Perhaps it’s the jewelry that sends me into a full swoon, or maybe it’s the quaint trilby hat sitting on a sly tilt. Teetering the fine line between sophistication and hippie, Tara shows off a few of her own designs.
And yes, dreams do come true. Visit the Rabbit + Cocoon studio located in Miami, or contact Tara at info@lovest.com.au and become the splendor of another’s fantasy.
Now I understand why Mum always stressed the importance of recycling. Just look at how much fun Maddie is having! Perhaps, I should also acknowledge her stylish family for this classic vintage ensemble; Her sister made the skirt, while her grandmother and aunt once owned the sweater and top, respectively.
Shopping on a budget is important for Maddie, so thrift shops and markets remain a vice. Recycle, reuse and look like a million bucks doing so!
